MONROE - Twining Valley Retirement Community, Angelus Retirement Community and The Monroe Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center are hosting the 2009 Brat Bash on Friday, June 12, starting at 11 a.m. and serving until 6 p.m. or until we run out. The event will take place at Twining Valley Retirement Community, 700 8th Ave., Monroe. All of the proceeds will be going to the Monroe Clinic Hospice.
The menu includes a brat, chips and soda for a donation of $5, along with raffle items available from area businesses for a donation of $1. Volunteers are needed. People who would like to volunteer are asked to call Cheri at 329-5999.
