MONROE - The National Historic Cheesemaking Center recently presented a check to Boy Scout Troop 180 at their meeting at the United Methodist Church, Monroe.

The Boy Scouts, assisted by parents, made and served cream puffs and grilled cheese sandwiches at the farmers market this summer on Monroe's historic downtown Square. This is a unique partnership with the Boy Scout Troop and the National Historic Cheesemaking Center, earning the troop $4,388.27 for their percentage of the sales proceeds this summer.
