SOUTH WAYNE — The South Wayne Community Blood Drive was a success Jan. 8 at Marty’s Village Inn. The quota was set at 36 and a total of 39 pints was collected.
Paul White made his 400th donation for a total of 50 gallons.
New donors were Cody Wick and Henry Seffrood. There were four doubles given and one deferral.
Other donors were Glenda Komprood, Ken Anderson, Carlyn Klotzback, Daniel Penniston, Steve Lenzen, Sue Gerloff, Betty Lehman, Kathryn Feeley, Richard Fernstaedt, Ron Bauman, Don Seffrood, Robert Hull, Jill Meier, Connie Meier, Jeffrey Blair, Pam Larson, Jack Hagen, Marissa Monson, Linda Helland, Mark Liphart, Helen LaDow, Tracey Williams, Suann Newingham, Muranda Lomas, Carol Ruegsegger, Tina Krebs, Kerry Schultz, Elizabeth Allen, Beth Seagall, Patti Anderson, Lonnie Stauffer, Lucas Stietz and Hailee Kammerud.
Donating to the Canteen were Valley View, cheese; South Wayne Co op, milk; Our Saviors Lutheran Church (Renita Berget and Glenda Komprood), sandwiches; Joyce Paulson, sandwiches; Carole Broge, sandwiches and cookies; Susie Junk, cookies; Connie Meier, cookies, crackers, coffee and sausage.
