Blood drive collects 37 pints

SOUTH WAYNE — With a quota of 39, there were ultimately 37 pints of blood collected at South Wayne’s Community Drive at Marty’s Village Inn on Nov. 6. 

First time donors were Ashley Morgan and Ernest Allen. Jacqueline Boss, Richard Leuziner and Jim Meier gave doubles. 

Other donors were Sue Gerloff, Grant Dale, Cheryl Dale, Kathy Feeley, Jill Meier, Carlyn Klatzbach, Stelda Kosek, Tom Wellnitz, Lavonne Liphart, Susan Halvorsen, Larry Burkhalter, Connie Meier, Dan Seffrood, SuAnn Newingham, Betty Lehman, Helen LaDow, Murnada Lomas, Mark Liphart, Betty Allen, Patti Anderson, Debra Larson, Monica Koch, Steve Leizen, Tracy Williams, Lucas Stietz, Karen Segner, Kevin Cox, Richard Fernsteadt, Larry Moen and Chuck Wick. 

Donating to the Canteen were South Wayne Mart; milk, Valley View; cheese, Jacqueline Boss (St. John’s Catholic); sandwiches, Joyce Paulson; Carole Broge, bars and sandwiches, and Connie Meier bars, coffee, sausage and crackers. 

Workers for the day were Carole Broge, Susie Junk and Connie Meier.
