MADISON — Jevon Ubersox-Tuescher was recently awarded the Daisy Award.
The Daisy Award is an international recognition program for nurses, established by the Daisy Foundation to honor the compassionate care they provide to patients and their families. The award program began in 1999 to remember J. Patrick Barnes, who died from an autoimmune disease. His family was inspired by the kindness of his nurses and created the award in his memory.
Jevon is an ER/Trauma RN. He graduated from Black Hawk High School in 2014. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Herzing University and works at Meriter Hospital in Madison.
