SOUTH WAYNE - The South Wayne Community Fund awarded the 2014 Black Hawk Excellence in Education Fund Grant Awards during a recent meeting.

Black Hawk Elementary - Ready To Read
Jacob's SWAG - Educational Program / Suicide Prevention and Good Life Choices
Black Hawk Middle School - Smart Technology
Black Hawk Elementary - Phonemic Awareness
The Black Hawk EIE Fund is an independent community organization that provides charitable resources to enhance educational programs in the School District of Black Hawk. Black Hawk EIE is an endowment fund - a long-term based fund for continued education projects. Gifts can be made to honor the memory of a loved one, honor a favorite educator or community member, mark an anniversary or class reunion or commemorate any special occasion.
The current Advisory Board includes Jaqui Haldiman, Rosann Markese, Becky Graham, Lisa Nelson, Chris Obert, Mavis Rood, Bruce Ruegsegger, Janeen Trame and Sonja Wolff.
The Black Hawk Excellence in Education Fund and the South Wayne Community Fund are components of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin Inc. A tax deductible contribution can be made and will stay in the Black Hawk School District.
