Biz tune-up topic of Nov. 3 meeting

MONROE - Small Business Development Center Counselor Gary Smith will present "Time for a Business Tune-up: Running a Small Business During an Economic Downturn" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at the Green County Area Entrepreneurs and Inventors Club meeting in the New Glarus Room, Monroe Clinic hospital, 515 22nd Ave. The event is free to the public and refreshments are served.

Smith will discuss specific actions small business owners can do to blunt the impact of a downturn. He will also encourage small businesses to explore how to grow their business in spite of dire economic news.

Smith serves the southwestern Wisconsin area as the SBDC's counselor. He provides free counseling to business owners, entrepreneurs and would-be business owners in private, confidential sessions.
