Bird Watching tour will be Saturday

BELOIT - The Green-Rock Audubon Society Land Bird Watching tour will be held Saturday, June 15.

Steve Reischel and other bird watchers will offer a tour on land that Green-Rock Audubon Society owns and is restoring in the Beloit and Newark townships in Rock County.

The bird outings will be lead by Green-Rock Audubon Society members familiar with the area. Those who attend can expect to see many grassland and forest bird species, as well as numerous rare wildflowers in Androene Woods. The Gabower-Reilly Reserve, Spring Creek Reserve and the Cleophas Reserve will be visited.

Limited parking is available at each site. The society will meet at Androne Woods at 8 a.m. Androne Woods is located on Cleophas Road, across the road from, fire sign number 7246.
