MONROE - Classic big band music, along with swing and jazz will echo throughout Monroe's historic Square on Thursday, when "Saxtet Plus" takes the stage for Monroe Main Street's summer Concert on the Square series.
The 15-piece band touts decades of experience and features vocalist Michelle DuVall and bandleader Ken Killian.
The free concert begins at 6:30 p.m. and those attending should bring their own chairs.
In the event of inclement weather, signs will be posted on the Square, directing audiences to either Turner Hall or Monroe Middle School.
