SOUTH WAYNE — The Black Hawk School District will hold a limited gathering graduation starting at 7 p.m. May 29. 

The senior class voted and the majority decided on a parking lot ceremony that will allow the following of social distance guidelines laid out by the Lafayette County Health Department. 

Guests are limited to immediate family members of graduating seniors with one vehicle access per graduate. Graduates who have separate maternal and paternal families will be allowed two vehicles. The parking lot will be closed to additional guests. 

Video of the ceremony will be immediately available on social media following the ceremony’s conclusion. The provisional graduation date in July is canceled.
