Better Balance & Strength session begins soon

FREEPORT — Due to popular demand and overwhelmingly positive feedback, the Senior Resource Center — together with Pathway Physical Therapy LLC — is offering a new six-week session of Better Balance & Strength for Older Adults.

This highly requested program is designed to help older adults improve strength, flexibility, and balance in a safe, supportive environment. Led by licensed physical therapists, participants will engage in gentle, guided exercises proven to enhance mobility, reduce fall risk, and promote overall well-being.

Class Details:

● Dates: Tuesdays, Sept. 16 to Oct. 28

● Time: 1-1:45 p.m.

● Location: Senior Resource Center, 206 E. Stephenson Street, Freeport

● Cost: $42 for six weeks

Registration & Payment:

● Payment of $42 (cash or check) is required at registration.

● Drop off payment at the Senior Resource Center.

● Space is limited — early registration is encouraged.

“Participants in our first session shared how much they enjoyed the class and the positive impact it had on their confidence and mobility,” said Amanda Faivre, Executive Director of the Senior Resource Center. “We are thrilled to bring it back for another group of seniors eager to stay strong and active.”

One participant shared, “I feel more steady on my feet thanks to this class. It gave me confidence to move around without worrying about falling.”
