Senior Alexander Charles Bestul, son of Sandra and Daniel Bestul of Monroe, was named to the dean's list of scholars for the 2010 winter term at North Central College, Naperville, Ill. To be eligible for the dean's list, undergraduate students must maintain a grade-point average of 3.6 (4.0=A) for the term and be enrolled as full-time students. Part-time students are recognized at the end of each academic year if they meet the same criterion and have completed at least eight credit hours, the equivalent of one term as a full-time student.
