MONROE - BeST Communication, a research study to learn effective communication with health care professionals like doctors and nurses, will start in Green County in 2014.
Its main goal is to prepare caregivers to be partners with health care professionals as they work together to care for someone else. Those who join the study will learn to prepare for a visit, get questions answered and make the most of the time you have with a doctor.
The program is supported by the University of Wisconsin, Green County Caregiver Coalition, Monroe Clinic and the Aging and Disability Resource Center. For more information, contact the ADRC by calling 608-328-9499.
