Parkside Elementary School second graders in Monroe recently celebrated their opinion writing unit with the Annual Best Book Awards. Students nominated books to win awards such as Best Characters, Powerful Pictures or Fantastic Facts. Students worked hard to support their opinions with evidence from the text.
