MONROE - U.S. Cellular, through its sponsorship with the Milwaukee Brewers, announced that each team in the Monroe Parks and Recreation baseball league are recipients of new baseball equipment and will receive a visit from Milwaukee Brewers mascot Bernie Brewer.
Each individual team has received a Coaches Kit that includes a rolling cooler, baseball duffle bag, dry erase board, bubble gum, sunflower seeds, Brewers rally towels, and Bernie Brewer mustaches.
U.S. Cellular will also enhance the league's game day experience on Saturday and June 4 through special appearances by Bernie Brewer and the U.S. Cellular Band of Better. Bernie Brewer will be at Twining Park with Monroe Parks and Recreation Baseball for a special game day appearance from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Bernie Brewer and the U.S. Cellular Band of Better will be in attendance to cheer on the players, take pictures with fans, provide free concessions and pass out Brewers promotional items.
