MONROE - Green County Abuse Prevention Team will host its annual all-you-can-eat spaghetti supper from 4:30 to 7:30 tonight at Grace Lutheran Church in Monroe. The dinner will be prepared by Vince's Ristorante and Pizzeria. The menu includes spaghetti with tomato and ground beef sauce, garlic bread and a wide variety of delicious desserts baked by the Green County Abuse Prevention team members. The tickets can be purchased at the door. The tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 4-11. Kids under age 4 are free.

Each year the proceeds from the spaghetti supper rotate among the three not for profit agencies that are members of the team, Green Haven Family Advocates, Sexual Assault Recovery Program and the Child Advocacy Center. This year's supper will benefit the Green Haven Family Advocates.

Green Haven Family Advocates Inc. is a community-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the individuals and families of Green County affected by abuse and violence through prevention education, advocacy, support and services.

GCAPT is a group of professionals from diverse agencies as well as concerned community members who work together to coordinate efforts to prevent sexual and domestic abuse of children and adults. Sexual and domestic abuse prevention and intervention activities have been successfully continued in Green County by the Sexual Assault Recovery Program and Green Haven Family Advocates which are both members of GCAPT. The CAC provides a child friendly forensic interview space for child victims of abuse as well as educational and emotional support services for their families and loved ones. The space for the center is provided and sponsored by the Monroe Clinic.

GCAPT was established in 1995 with a mission of reducing sexual and domestic abuse in Green County communities.
