MONROE - "How To Be A Birder" is the subject of the 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, Green-Rock Audubon program to be held in the downstairs meeting room of the Monroe Public Library.
This activity has become increasingly popular among all age groups and is a focus of environmental and travel groups. John Patterson will talk on attracting birds to the backyard, on bird identification, on books and gear and more.
"Beginners" can learn, ask questions and find out about groups and clubs available. Experienced birders can share tips and favorite bird viewing areas. The program is open to the public.
