Behring to offer workshop on how to protect assets

MONROE - Elder law and estate planning attorney Douglas Ley will present a complimentary workshop on how to protect yourself, your assets and your family at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 23 at the Behring Senior Center.

Ley has dedicated his career to educating and helping people take the necessary steps now to protect their family from the time and expense of probate, so they have peace of mind in the future.

Following the brief presentation, everyone attending will receive a complimentary power of attorney for property and personal affairs, power of attorney for health care and a living will on a first-come, first-served basis.

The complimentary living will and powers of attorney will be provided at Town Bank, 101 71â"2 St., Monroe, during a one-hour consultation with attorney Ley on the afternoon of Feb. 23 and continuing between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Feb. 24-26.
