MONROE - Wisconsin Community Bank, with offices in Monroe and other locations, recently helped mark the expansion of New Glarus Brewing Company and presented the company with a special gift.

The company's new Hilltop Brewery houses its main offices and serves as the primary production facility for Spotted Cow, one of the brewery's most popular beers. Since opening in 1993, New Glarus Brewery has expanded several times to keep up with the high demand for its handcrafted beer.

"We've been there each time to provide the financing," said Jim Finley, president of Wisconsin Community Bank's Monroe market. "This latest expansion is evidence of the continued growth and popularity of the company's tasteful brews."

To mark the occasion, Finley presented the company with a chip carving of its logo. The brewery is nestled on the outskirts of New Glarus and prides itself on individuality and the use of 100 percent natural ingredients to produce world-class beers.
