Badger Camp gets $3K grant

MONROE - The United Way of Green County has selected Badger Camp as a recipient for a $3,000 grant. The grant will financially support individuals with developmental disabilities from Green County through our campership program who attend Wisconsin Badger Camp.

The grant will help provide more than 15 individuals from Green County experience outdoor recreational activities such as fishing, hiking, camping, horseback riding, canoeing and arts and crafts. Wisconsin Badger Camp brings a tradition of outdoor recreational experiences to people of any ability or age regardless of someone's financial situation.

United Way of Green County has been a supporter of Wisconsin Badger Camp for over 14 years. Wisconsin Badger Camp is an independent nonprofit organization that serves about 900 individuals with developmental disabilities each summer.
