FREEPORT - The Freeport Arts Center at 121 N. Harlem Ave. in Freeport, officially changed its name to the Freeport Art Museum, effective September 2008. The museum is open to the public with free admission. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
