Piano recital is slated for May 4
MONROE - The piano students of Gwen Shaker will present its "Rock & Roll Piano Recital" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 4 at St. Victor School in Monroe.
The following students will be performing: Deven Vasquez, Henry Schluesche, Clare-Michaela Hughes, Cassi Gersbach, Jenna Crook, Grant Gogin, Garrett Gogin, Amy Gogin, Katie Griepentrog, Dawn Green, Braedon Klemm, Lilly Edwards, Faye Green, Joseph Green, Bailey Hoesly, and Allison Brennan.
The public is invited. A reception will follow.

DARLINGTON - The La Fayette Genealogy Society will be meeting at 7 p.m. today at the Centenary Methodist Church in Shullsburg. Jim Ronnerud will be speaking on his grandfather 's experiences in the Civil War.
The event is open to the public.
