Gun show slated for Sunday, Dec. 4

JUDA - The Juda Fire Department will sponsor a gun show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Juda Community Center and Fire Station.

Attendees can trade, sell, buy and browse items. Registration of a table costs $15 each, and the event is limited to 100 tables. Advance payment is required at time of registration for guaranteed tables.

First National to discuss floral decor

MONROE - First National Bank and Trust Company's Privilege Plus Club will host a meeting to discuss holiday floral decorations at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 1625 10th St., Monroe.

Refreshments will be provided and prizes will be given away. Those age 55 and older are invited to attend to learn more about First National Bank's Privilege Plus Club.

Darlington

Lunch Bunch to meet on Oct. 10

DARLINGTON - The Lunch Bunch will meet from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, in the County Board Room of the Lafayette County Courthouse, Darlington. The topic of discussion will be "I just want to live longer - and so far it's working."

Presenters for the informal, free session will be Tom and Cinda Welu, as well as Mary Knellwolf, Lafayette County Family Living Educator. They will discuss healthy eating habits, exercise and its benefits, and taking care of yourself. Questions from the public are welcome.
