Aqua Zumba classes continue
MONROE - Aqua Zumba classes are continuing at the Monroe municipal pool. The class is taught by licensed instructors Jolene DeNure and Cassie Coffey.
Monroe Clinic sponsors the classes, offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Aug. 9. The adult/senior class is from 5:15 to 6 p.m.; the family class is from 7 to 8 p.m.; and the college and high school class is from 8 to 9 p.m.
The cost for the class is $2 or free to season pass holders. Registration is not required.

Ice cream social slated for Aug. 1
ALBANY - Albany United Methodist Church's annual Ice Cream Social is scheduled from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 at the church, 105 South Mill St.
Billy the Clown will be at the event.
All proceeds will go to the AUMC Building Fund.
