ARGYLE - The 137th anniversary of the Argyle Public Library will be celebrated with a party from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 28 at the library, 401 East Milwaukee Street, in Argyle.

There will be appetizers donated by the Argyle Women's Club and Corner Pub and Deli, library gear for sale including digitized Argyle High School yearbooks, a Harry Potter green screen, a scavenger hunt, a hand-crafted Argyle Library timeline and more.

Also on hand will be a library-style book covering station: Patrons may bring in books and staff will cover and/or repair them.
