ARGYLE - Argyle Community Theater presents the world premiere of "Jimmy's Song," a two-act musical kaleidoscopic review of the United States in World War II, on Feb. 14, 15, 16 21, 22 and 23 in the Star Theater at Partridge Hall in Argyle.
All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $5. Dinner theater is available on Saturday, Feb. 16 and Feb. 23. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. and tickets are $20.
Based on the memoirs of Jimmy Lageson, "Jimmy's Song" weaves the lives of Betty Grabel, Dorothy Lamour, Ronald Reagan, Eleanor Roosevelt and others into the personal experience of Lageson in Italy, France and Germany. Jimmy's Song gives a unique insight into what has come to be called "The Good War."
