MONROE — The Mark Mueller Scholarship Fund will hold its second annual Punt, Throw, Kick Competition on Super Bowl Sunday. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 13 at Twining Park.

The event is open to competitors — and spectators — of all ages. There is a $20 entry fee, with all proceeds going to the scholarship fund, which is available to Monroe High School students in honor of the 2001 MHS grad that died unexpectedly in 2003.

Funds from last year’s event raised money to give out seven scholarships to 2021 Monroe graduates.
