Annual breakfast and toy show set for Feb. 19

DARLINGTON - The Darlington FFA and FFA alumni will host their annual pancake breakfast and farm toy show Feb. 19 at Darlington High School, 11838 Center Hill Road, Darlington. The pancake breakfast has been an annual event for over 30 years, and this is the 14th year the toy show has been held along with it.

FFA members will serve breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Darlington High School cafeteria. The menu includes buttermilk and blueberry pancakes, sausage, applesauce, milk, orange juice and coffee. Prices for the all-you-can-eat breakfast are $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 5 to 12, and children 4 and under eat free.

Breakfast includes admission to the toy show, which will be located across the hall from the breakfast. Toy show hours are from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature about 100 tables of toy vendors and displays. Admission to the toy show only is $3. Trophies will be awarded for the top three displays, and there is still room for anyone else who would like to display or sell toys. Raffle tickets are being sold for several prizes including two precision classic toys. The drawing will take place at the close of the toy show.
