MONTICELLO - Amstutz-Marty Legion Post #256 is hosting the annual Green County American Legion Christmas Party on Dec. 7 at Zwingli United Church of Christ, 416 E. Lake Ave.
A different Green County Post and Unit alternate hosting the Christmas parties each year.
Meet and Greet with appetizers starts at 4:30 p.m. A buffet featuring roast beef and roast turkey meal will be at 5:30 p.m. Dessert, coffee, games and bingo with prizes will follow.
Free-will activities include donations of boxed or canned goods for the Green Cares Food Pantry, Monticello, a 50/50 drawing and a progressive bid on a selection of gift baskets donated by each Green County Auxiliary Unit.
The meal cost is $17 per person. Reservations are requested by Nov. 28 and can be sent to Barb Unke, 537 S. Monroe Street, Monticello, WI 53570. Checks can be made to Monticello American Legion Auxiliary.
