Stanley and Marian Pickett, Argyle, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Woodford Park Shelter. Dinner will be provided by their children.

Stan and Marian have four children: Linda Liphart, Browntown, Michael (Traci), Monroe, Robert, Powell, Tenn., and SuAnn (Joe) Newingham, Apple River, Ill. They have nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

All friends and relatives are invited. No formal invitations have been sent.
