Hans and Wanda (Smith) Masshardt, Monroe, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 26, 2015. They were married June 26, 1965 at First Presbyterian Church, Galesville.

The couple has four children: Brian (Yuka), Japan; Tami (Wally) Vroman, Evansville; Todd (Cheri), Portland, Oregon; and Tim (Melissa), Miami, Florida. They have nine grandchildren.

The family is hosting a cake and ice cream reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 8 at Union Presbyterian Church. All friends and family are invited. The couple asks for no gifts.
