Harold (Sonny) and Donna Larse were united in marriage on June 20, 1970 at West Wiota Lutheran Church on West Church Road in Gratiot.

They have four children, Tammi (Terry) Balder of Maple Lake, Minnesota, Jamie (Angela) Larse of Richland Center, Cory (Erin) Larse of Somerset, and Matthew (fiance, Emily) Larse of Monroe. They have seven grandchildren: Michaela, Kylie, Janie, Jay, Jolee, Megan, Adam and future step-grandchildren, Hannah and Bryce.

In honor of their anniversary, an outdoor family celebration is taking place at their daughter’s lake home in Maple Lake, Minnesota with future plans for a trip to Norway.
