Dean and Jane Cernek, Gratiot, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 3, 2013.
Dean and the former Jane Kissinger were married on Oct. 3, 1953 in Chesterton, Ind.
Their children are Steve and Shelia Cernek, Gratiot; Dean and Kristine Cernek, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Peter and Debra Cernek, Gratiot; Kevin and Cindy Cernek, Gratiot; John and Gloria Cernek, Elton, La.; Scott and Cathy Cernek, Clinton; Ben Cernek, Benton; and Scott and Robyn Wetzel, Billings, Mont. The couple has 30 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The Cernek family will be hosting an open house at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 at the Warren Community Center. The open house will include desserts, coffee and punch. The family asks that gifts be omitted.
