Joseph and Anita Best, Monroe, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. March 27 at the Moose Family Center in Monroe.

Best and Anita Prien were married March 27, 1960 at Immanuel Evangelical United Brethren Church.

They have five children: Alice (Loudon II) Westgard, Betty Anderson, Cindy (Steve) Parmer and Don (Diann) Best, Monroe, and Ed Best, Madison. They also have eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are invited as no formal invitations are being sent.
