Virgil and Beverly Deininger, Brodhead, observed their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 17. In August, they took a trip to Glacier National Park, had a family anniversary weekend on the farm and rode in an open cockpit bi-plane over their farm. They celebrated with family and attendants on their anniversary with a dinner at the home of Dave and Shannon Kunstman.

Deininger and Beverly Hintzman were wed Oct. 17, 1959 at the United Methodist Church of Brodhead.

They have three daughters, Cheryl (Don Maas) Deininger, Michelle (Tim) Osterhaus, and Shannon (Dave) Kunstman. They also have three grandchildren.
