Fred and Lillian F. Beer Jr., Monroe, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with a dinner with their son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
Beer Jr. and Lillian F. Zurfluh were united in marriage Sept. 16, 1940, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. They have resided in Monroe since their marriage.
They are the parents of Circuit Court Judge James (Olga) Beer and the late Phyllis K. Beer. They have five grandchildren.
