MADISON - Applications for 2008 Alice in Dairyland are due Tuesday, Jan. 22.

Alice in Dairyland is a one year, full-time contract position with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.

The salary is $40,000. The job begins June 2.

If you have a passion for agriculture, enjoy delivering speeches, conducting media campaigns, meeting people, traveling, and working with school children, you may have what it takes to be Wisconsin's 61st Alice In Dairyland.

Applicants must be a Wisconsin resident and at least 21 years of age before June 1, have at least three years of education, training or experience in communications, marketing, agriculture, public relations or a combination of these.
