ALBANY - The fifth and sixth graders at Albany Middle School will be participating in Service Learning Day on Friday, April 25.
Service Learning Day is meant to help the people in the community.
In the morning, students will clean up the woods, parks and bike trail. In the afternoon, students will hold a walk/bike-a-thon for Gary Armitage. The walk/bike-a-thon is a fundraiser to raise money for Armitage's medical expenses for his liver transplant. After the walk/bike-a-thon, students will visit some of the senior centers in Albany to do activities with the elderly.
For more information, contact Jeffrey Campbell at 608-862-3225 ext. 2211.
