ALBANY - Albany students answered trivia questions during a contest run for American Education Week from Nov. 13-17, designated as a week to celebrate public education in America.
Trivia included fun facts such as the Albany Comets were once the Albany Tigers and Albany teachers once taught NFL players.
The elementary students learned that "school is cool" as they received a popsicle and special coloring pages. The middle school students each received a scarf because they are "just warming up for a great year." The high school students participated in the trivia contest to see how well they know their school.
There also was a display of staff baby pictures for the amusement of the students.
