ALBANY — The Albany High School National Honor Society has announced its upcoming community blood drive, taking place from 1-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22 in the Albany School District Elementary Gym.

This vital event is open to students, staff, parents, and community members who are eligible to donate. All blood donations will help save lives and support local hospitals and patients in need.

“We’re excited to provide our community with a way to give back and make a real impact,” said Emerson Briggs, President of the Albany High School National Honor Society. “Every donation counts, and we encourage everyone who is able to participate.”

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended to help minimize wait times. Donors must meet eligibility requirements — bring a photo ID and eat a healthy meal before donating.

To schedule an appointment, call 1-800-733-2767, visit RedCrossBlood.org, or scan the QR code.
