ALBANY - Albertson Memorial Library, 200 N. Water St., will offer several free programs for children and families during National Screen Free Week, starting May 4. No registration required. Suggested ages are offered per program.
Legos for Families will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 4 and is for all ages interested in building with Legos together.
The Bedtime Math Storytime, set for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 5, is best for grades pre-kindergarten to fourth. The story and activity hour is built around math concepts and based entirely on "Bedtime Math" books by Laura Overdeck.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Party will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. May 6. To celebrate recent graduates of Albany's 1,000 Books program, play and learn with current participants and provide information about the program to interested families of children under age 5.
Make-Your-Own Window Clings drop-in craft is set for 4 to 7 p.m. May 8. The event is a quick craft for all ages.
Baby Lapsit Storytime will be held from 9 to 9:30 a.m. May 9 and is for ages 1 and under only.
