ALBANY - Albertson Memorial Library, 200 N. Water St., will offer an Animation Workshop for ages 12 and older from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 23. Class size is limited and registration is required.
The workshop is a finale event for the library's summer reading program. The workshop instructor, Jason Love, trains participants on simple and inexpensive ways to make their creativity come alive. After completing the workshop, each participant walks away with the knowledge and experience to put their stories, art, and creativity into an animated video.
Each participant receives a packet of workshop notes and a DVD copy of the animation created during the workshop.
The instructor and library provide all needed equipment, but participants may bring their own digital cameras and tripods if they want.
To register or for more information, contact the library at 608-862-3491.
