ALBANY - Albertson Memorial Library invites school-aged children to attend a series of two interactive music appreciation classes taught by Albany School's music teacher Rachel Day. The hands-on after-school classes will be held at the public library.

The first class is from 4 to 5 p.m. April 3, when Day will cover blues and rock 'n' roll. The second class is from 4 to 5 p.m. May 1 and will cover contemporary music.

The classes are open to all school-aged children in Albany and surrounding communities, including children who attend schools outside of Albany or are homeschooled.

Registration is required for both classes in order to plan for the extent and age of the audience. Register by following the registration link to music appreciation classes on the website www.albertsonlibrary.org.

Albertson Memorial Library is located at 200 N. Water St. in Albany. Call 608-862-3491 or email albanypl@tds.net with questions.
