ALBANY – The Friends of the Albertson Memorial Library’s annual fall silent auction fundraiser has begun. The auction will run through library hours on Oct. 25.
There are many items to bid on: from toys to tractors, baskets to beverages, oil changes to dining and more. Check out the Albertson Memorial Facebook page for a full listing of items up for auction. All proceeds will be directed towards booking animals for a family program and securing an author or lecturer for an adult program.
Stop in on the final day, Oct. 25 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to place final bids and join the Friends of the Library for a reception. Refreshments will be provided as a token of gratitude to all who have supported the library.

Those on the fence or curious about the chaos and camaraderie should check out the library’s Facebook and Instagram pages for recaps of past sessions.

Join the discussion with All Booked Up at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 24 and engage in a conversation about “The Tattooist of Auschwitz” by Heather Morris. The library will be closed in observation of Thanksgiving on Nov. 27. It will reopen Nov. 28.
