ALBANY — Albany High School will celebrate Homecoming week from Oct. 7 to Oct. 13, which kicked off with the powder puff football game at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Village Park. 

Throughout the week, students will participate in dress-up days, a volleyball tournament and activities such as float building in their quest to win the spirit stick. The theme for the week is “Blast from The Past.” 

Each class has a different decade on which to focus their activities.

There will be a pep assembly at 1:15 p.m. Friday during which the king and queen will be crowned. The parade will follow at approximately 2:30 p.m. The homecoming dance will be held from 8 p.m. until midnight Saturday at the school. 

Spectators are welcome to attend and watch the grand march at 8:30 p.m.
