ALBANY - Board members of the Albany Historical Society canceled its 23rd annual Hymn Sing now and indefinitely.
The decision was made to not divide the community with two hymn sings at the same time. No future plans have been made to have another hymn sing.
Members are working on another possible event, and possible working with the Albertson Memorial Library.
The board also decided to change the museum's summer hours. Due to the redoing of business north Water Street this summer from now until Labor Day, the museum's hours will be 9 a.m. to noon. The museum is located at 117-119 North Water St.
