ALBANY - Albany High School teacher Adam Wamsley has received a 2017 Accounting Career Awareness Grant from the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants Educational Foundation Inc.

Teachers who attended the fall 2016 WICPA High School Educators Symposium received the opportunity to write proposals about why they should receive funding from the foundation. Wamsley is among 40 teachers to receive a grant.

He will use the grant to take his students on field trips to the Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks and University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Explore Accounting Day.
