ALBANY — The Albany United Methodist Church will be hosting an Ice Cream Social from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Aug. 7 at the church, 500 Park St. 

All ages are welcome for fun and fellowship. Menu includes BBQ beef, hot dogs, potato salad, chips, baked beans, homemade pie, cake and bars, ice cream sundaes, lemonade, milk and coffee. Prices are a la carte. Takeout orders are available. There will be a bouncy house for children. All proceeds will go toward Missions.
