MADISON - University of Wisconsin-Madison Agronomy Specialists will be offering an agronomy update meeting for Southwest Wisconsin with registration at 11:30 a.m., followed with lunch at noon and the meeting beginning at 1 p.m. at Friday, Jan. 7, at Baymont Inn and Convention Center at Belmont.
UW-Extension Specialists Joe Lauer, Dan Undersander and Shawn Conley will present the latest information on hybrid/variety performance, an analysis and discussion of the 2010 growing season and updated recommendations for field crop production.
The registration fee is $30 per person which includes lunch and information packet. Participants can pre-register in person at the Grant or Lafayette County Extension Offices or by sending the registration fee payable to UW-Extension to Ted Bay by Jan. 1 at the Lafayette County Extension Office at 627 Washington St., Darlington, WI 53530. Room and meal costs necessitate a $5 walk-in fee charged to those who have not pre-registered. Anyone with questions on this program can call Ted Bay at (608) 723-2125.
