MONROE - A one-hour educational program called "Let's Talk about Medications" will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Dec. 8 at the Behring Senior Center.
The program was developed by Wisconsin Health Literacy to help seniors better understand how to safely use medication. Topics will include understanding the main parts of a prescription label, how to read instructions on the label and storage techniques.
Each participant will be given a free pillbox and the chance to enter a cash-prize drawing.
